Carolyn Gee

• Hi my name is Carolyn Gee. I am a Registered Nurse with a previous background as Senior Educator with Eastern Area Health. This position was held for 10 years and then I went on to become a member of the Fertility Society of Australia.
• I am the Senior Clinic Coordinator for Fertility East working with a group of leading IVF specialists. I have worked in IVF for 14 years and during that time have been responsible for implementing practices and procedures to satisfy the standards set out by the Reproductive Technologies Accreditation Committee.
• Currently, with the help of our team since 2006, I have participated in opening up a new IVF unit – Fertility East. Time is rigidly controlled in the lives of infertile people. They never know with certainty when tests will be scheduled, when ovulation will take place, or even if they can make love. I would like to feel that we make a difference to everyone. Each person has different problems and coping strategies. My aim is to acknowledge what our patients are going through emotionally, physically, and financially, and to be flexible enough to adapt my skills to meet their needs.
